COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM 25 CREDIT HOURS Program Description Instruction in methodology of teaching, lesson plan writing,
presentation of lessons, student critique techniques, classroom presentation, state forms, rules and related theory to all
subjects. Discussions on staff job descriptions, school management philosophies and operations procedures
are presented throughout training.
Program Objective
To expand the knowledge of the teacher candidate and prepare
them for the school job market by instilling professional work habits in respect to time management, lesson
presentation, grading methods, and organizational and leadership skills. Presentation methods, student
relation skills, and likeliness of hire for our school are evaluated. Encouragement of self reliance, initiative,
professional ethics, and teamwork create a well rounded and productive personality sought after in the Teaching Industry.
